Exhibit Services Manager

An Exhibitor Manager develops, plans, organizes, and manages all aspects of the exhibitors’ experience. (distribution of exhibitor kits, communication with exhibitors, etc.)  This position oversees  entire exhibits and/or events from the initial planning process to receiving shipments and set up of the exhibit floor. 

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Obtaining pertinent event information from our event organizer customers, General Contractors (GCs) and other vendor suppliers and, armed with this information/these requirement create and distribute detailed Event and Set-up Memos in a timely manner prior to each event.
  • Keeping event organizers, exhibitors and vendor suppliers apprised of venue policies as well as the trade jurisdictions and work rules in the collective bargaining agreements of our workforce-eight trades/twelve bargaining agreements.
  • Providing operational/logistical direction to event organizer and exhibitor customers as required.
  • Ensuring that all event organizer meeting room, public space/lobby and exhibit hall requirements are met.
  • Calculating and distributing event organizer Net Square Footage exhibit space usage reports.
  • Providing event excellence customer service support to our internal and external customers.

Knowledge, Skills &  Abilities:

  • Excellent communicator
  • Adept at project management and problem solving
  • Able to multi-task/juggle the needs of multiple customers in simultaneous fashion.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in all MS Office Suites-Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Flexible mindset.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time, walk throughout a multi-level facility and sit at a work station for long periods as required.
  • Requires a significant commitment of time against a backdrop of a fast-paced environment-work days can and do include extended hours, early morning starts, evening work, weekends and holidays.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High diploma or equivalent; College degree referred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the events/hospitality industry

 

Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for taking incoming calls, booking tickets and booths for customers/exhibitors, and processing incoming ticket sales.  The Inside Sales Representatives will also be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented. 

 

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Answer phones and book booth space for customers based on availability
  • Inform customers of alternative booths and promotions if they are unable to book the space they originally wanted
  • Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquires
  • Follow suggest script provided to all inside sales representatives
  • Capture customer information, including address, phone number, email address, for future follow-up
  • Adjust sales presentation based on success/fail average
  • Build rapport with customer through friendly engaging communication
  • Works with team members in the field including field sales.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Two plus years sales experience (inside sales preferred)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of ticket registration process and software
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred. 

 

Outside Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for establishing contact with existing customer, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads.  The position also monitors industry trends in order to identify new emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.  

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Generate sales report each week and submit them to management
  • Utilize all available resources to each out to prospects and attempt to turn prospects into customers
  • Collaborate with management team to improve marketing material and expand the company’s presence in the industry
  • Attend industry shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients and customers
  • Update client information in company database
  • Stop on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth

  • Four plus years outside sales experience
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50 percent of the time
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little or no direction

Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for events, both short and long range.  Responsible for targeting existing and new markets in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans, forecasts objectives, to achieve company objectives for products and services.
  • Develops and manages marketing/sales operating budget
  • Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail. 
  • Ensure effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives fall with budgets
  • Evaluates and recommends distribution channel development programs 
  • Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities
  • Serve as liaison with outside agencies on ongoing promotional campaigns
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Develop and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy
