Our vision was to create a forum in Chicago for women to discuss and explore solutions to the issues they confront in their daily lives and to celebrate their aspirations and achievements in an event designed for women by women! Now going into the 22nd year, BWe is the nation’s longest running exposition of it’s kind, garnering the attendance of over 30,000.
Chicago’s much anticipated event that acknowledges the aspirations and achievements of African American women, a precursor to The Black Women’s Expo. This annual celebration pays homage to outstanding African American women, both locally and nationally, with the Phenomenal Woman Award, named in honor of famed poet, Maya Angelou. This coveted award recognizes extraordinary women for their excellence and community service. This is the social event of the year and a must attend for all corporate companies and city luminaries.
The Harlem Fine Arts Show (HFAS) is a hub for creativity, education, empowerment and economic development for arts within the multi-cultural and general market community. Since it’s inception in Harlem, NYC, the Harlem Fine Arts Show has spread cultural nutrition through the visual arts and has become the largest traveling exhibition of African Diasporic art in the USA. Tour destinations are New York City, Atlanta, Martha’s Vineyard and Chicago.
Who’s Who Publishing has highlighted the sacrifices and triumphs of African Americans, in more than 25 cities, while also providing a new window into the history of Chicago and its legendary leaders. Our unveiling reception and signature events bring together these leaders and provide the opportunity for netowkring and shaking hands with the city’s best and brightest stars.
