Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club’s (ELRC) 80-plus members are active in hands on Community Service and International Service projects as well as contributing more than $100,000 annually, which is raised through their Taste of Evanston and other fundraising efforts, to local and international charitable projects, including housing insecurity, youth empowerment, and other essential health projects such as clean water, sanitation and health education, and the eradication of Polio.

In 2025, ELRC hired MGPG Events to produce their 11^th annual Taste of Evanston which brings together the best of local cuisine, community spirit, and lakeside charm. This community gathering features signature dishes from Evanston’s favorite restaurants, live music, and dancing in support of initiatives that combat housing insecurity in Evanston.

As the event producers, we oversaw vendor sourcing and coordination, solicited sponsors, crafted and sourced all event collateral, led on-site management, and coordinated the event marketing including the creation of press releases and social media management.
